I started using the Oily Scalp before the Dry Scalp and ended up liking the latter a lot more. I'm still eager to try other Whamisa hair care products since the ingredients is definitely what has interested me the most from this brand. Just like the Dry Scalp this product also retails for 32,000₩.

►THE BREAKDOWN

When I'm really stressed out my hair undoubtedly becomes dry and suddenly I have dandruff. I had hoped that this shampoo would help with the dandruff but unfortunately it did not. However, I didn't give up and keep at it until I gave up. The oily scalp has a gel-like consistency so I use less product. It creates just as much bubbles as the dry scalp shampoo. If I use enough it lathers well enough to cover hair. The oily scalp shampoo is lighter in color than the dry scalp, a light yellow. The scent is absolutely a cross of menthol and peppermint and it is most definitely a strong scent too. It is stronger than the dry scalp so it not only does it last while I'm massaging the shampoo into my hair but also hours after my shower. The scent is a lot more long-lasting than the dry scalp shampoo. Since it contains menthol, peppermint, and rosemary it leaves a tingling sensation on my scalp when I use it. The bad thing about the menthol and peppermint is that if the shampoo for some reason lands on my face before I've lathered it then it's more if a burning sensation. Although, it makes my scalp feel refreshed and clean it leaves my scalp really dry and doesn't help with my dandruff at all. The good thing about using this shampoo is that although it dries out my scalp out a bit it doesn't leave my hair coarse or as dry as it leaves my scalp. The oily scalp shampoo doesn't help with hair loss or dandruff. It also doesn't make my hair look healthy or glossy and makes it only look and feel the tiniest bit of soft. The oily scalp does make my hair feel clean but because it dries my scalp it doesn't help sebum secretion all that much. Even though the texture and ingredients are excellent the scent and results are unsatisfactory. Out of both the oily scalp and dry scalp this one is my least favorite of the two. Whamisa states that the dry scalp shampoo is "formulated without Parabens/Synthetics/Chemical Preservatives, Artificial Dyes and Fragrances, Petrochemicals, Silicon/Mineral Oils, EDTA, Animal Origin ingredients, Chemical/Sulfate Surgactant, Synthetic Viscosity Agent." If one is looking for a Korean brand shampoo without all the above ingredients this a product worth trying out, perhaps it didn't make any big impact on my hair since it is dyed and on the damaged side. Whamisa also states that they are environment friendly and against animal testing which is another reason some may find this product appealing anyways. Will I repurchase? No. The oily scalp contains apple fruit extract and salicylic acid which are supposed to exfoliate but I just didn't see it so I'm tempted to try it one last time. But of course not any time soon.

My expectations were absurdly high for both the oily scalp and dry scalp but read those ingredients and you'll think the same. Out of both shampoos this was my least favorite and maybe it's because and not fond of minty scents. I had less results with this shampoo but again someone may find it appealing to try out because although it didn't do much it didn't destroy my hair. Maybe my scalp was to dry to be saved so there's that.

Hello, this is my first ever hair product on the blog since I started this blog years ago. I'm starting to delve more into hair products and actually have a few more items that I'm currently trying before I post them on the blog. Whamisa is a popular brand online and I haven't tried their skincare since nothing really appealed to me until I came across the shampoos. Whamisa's hair care lineup includes the dry scalp shampoo, pictured here, and the oily scalp which I have also tried and will be posted after this. This product retails for 32,000₩. I purchased mine for a little less but still consider the shampoos price a little steep.

►THE BREAKDOWN

I have dyed blonde damaged hair and last year I started to lose a ton of hair more than I have ever lost. I really don't know the reason why but I'm sure it was various things like stress, change of weather among other things that unfortunately lead to a severe problem of hair loss. Around that time I was looking for shampoos that would either help ease the hair loss or completely rid my problem and this shampoo was the closest thing I could find. It took me a few weeks to commit and buy these shampoos because I've used cheap shampoo all my life until I bought this $20 purple shampoo so I guess buying this shampoo will ease me into trying other relatively expensive shampoos. Now that I really looked into it it's not too expensive as it has tons of amazing ingredients, has 500ml worth of product and has a pump so it is worth the $30. I started using the Dry Scalp in November and now have a little less than half left. I wash my hair either one or twice a week and sometimes every other day in a week. I didn't use any hair products or used heat styling products because besides being paranoid about hair loss I really wanted to see if the shampoo did indeed help the condition of my hair. The dry scalp shampoo is really watery and runny and I always tend to use more than I should because of it and also because I have a lot of hair even though I was losing a lot of it. The scent is sweet yet is not fruity nor flowery either. I still find the scent to be herbal-like but just sweeter than herbal based products. The scent is the perfect amount of sweet although it is a strong scent I never found it to be bothersome. The scent lasts while I'm massaging the shampoo into by hair. It also lasts about two hours after my shower but abruptly fades with no traces left behind of the addictive sweet scent. The dry scalp shampoo has a pH4.5 but rises to a pH6 when mixed with water. When using the shampoo I wet my hair then apply the dry scalp shampoo and find that it lathers well and creates a decent amount of suds. I find that the shampoo soothes my scalp and makes it feel velvety soft. Once out of the shower my hair still feels soft and hydrated. Yet, having used the product for 3 months the results are not long-lasting. Yes, my hair feels soft and hydrated but only on the days I use the shampoo and the day after using it. The dry scalp shampoo unfortunately didn't help with my hair loss but it didn't make it worse either, It didn't make my hair look healthy nor glossy but I have dyed hair so I wasn't expecting that it did. It did make my hair look and feel soft and although it didn't drastically improve or help the condition of my hair it kept my hair pretty stable. Shampoo also made my hair feel clean without stripping it of its natural oils and I did notice that it helped a bit with sebum secretion. This shampoo is a lot more moisturizing than shampoos I've tried in the past but again there is no long-lasting benefits. It's a decent shampoo but with all the exceptional ingredients and steep price I was expecting just a bit more results. No, at least not soon anyways. I just want to try it one more time because the ingredients are too good to pass up. In the end it didn't help or worsen hair fallout but it just didn't live up to my exceptions.
I'm so tempted to say yes but the lack of results and the steep prices makes me reconsider recommending the product. Overall the ingredients are amazing but the product itself is nothing special. Maybe it just didn't suit my hair but if the price is not an issue then maybe it is worth a try.

I've tried a few Skinfood products and it is a solid brand so I was finally ready to try out their hyped Black Sugar Perfect First Serum. Skinfood has upgraded their Black Sugar Perfect First Serum to include two types the Essential and Light versions. I have bought both and I'm currently trying out the Light hoping for better results. This product retails for 24,000₩.

►THE BREAKDOWN

I've been using the Essential version for more than 2 months and actually really enjoy the product. The product comes with cotton pads that I unfortunately haven't tried out yet since I'm trying to use up my other cotton pads. The product is housed in a glass bottle and the bottle doesn't over dispense product. The texture is watery and the color is clear. As for the scent it has a sweet alcohol scent to it. As the name suggests this product is meant to be used right after cleansing since it is a first serum. I sometimes use it before my toner or after my toner, especially if I'm using a first essence. I tend to layer my products from thin to thickest texture. The product isn't sticky itself and when applied leaves my skin incredibly soft and supple. However, once patted into the skin I find it a little sticky but not unbearable. After using it for the two months I noticed that when I didn't use it my skin didn't feel as soft or moisturized as when I did use it. Layering this product under my other hydrating layers is a definite must as my skin feels and looks absolutely times more smooth and supple. I've been using other brightening products so I can't comment that this product was the sole reason for brightening my complexion but because of the ingredients I'm certain that the product played a part in brightening my face. I did notice that it has very minimally helped the appearance of pimples. It has also has slightly helped some of my redness but not as much as I had expected or wanted it to. It doesn't help much with excess sebum but it doesn't make it overproduce either. Perhaps if I use the exfoliating cotton pads I might notice it helping sebum production. Overall I find the product works best for moisturizing my skin and prepping it for makeup. Although, the scent is a little strong it isn't bothersome but it might be for those sensitive to fragrances and sensitive to fruit extracts. On my dry sometimes combination skin I found it gentle and very hydrating. Will I repurchase? No, I really liked it but I'm always open to trying new products. And I also have the LIGHT version to try out so that one may fair better. I think it's very hydrating and if I can't find a product to replace in the near future then I might consider repurchasing it but for now nope.

The product itself is quite good it offers the skin tons of hydration and moisturizing benefits and some brightening. I didn't notice any exfoliation but it does contain products that are in exfoliating products. It doesn't help sebum production but minimally helps appearance of pimples and redness. It contains ingredients that soothe the skin so it is quite gentle but the scent may not be ideal for those sensitive to fragrance. It is a standard product that performs like many other products out there so it is not a must have unless the ingredients and benefits are appealing enough to the individual.

Hi, I'm trying to upload a few more reviews before I have to sort out all the photos I've taken thus far of the products I'll review in the next weeks coming. Sulwhasoo has been a brand that I've always been interesting since years ago since it really focuses on herbal ingredients but the price is a little steep. The few first products that I've tried from the brand have been the Perfecting and Brightening cushions so I'm excited to delve into the brand's skincare. This product retails for 40,000₩.

►THE BREAKDOWN

I'm easily captivated by cleansers and although this cleanser is quite expensive I thought I'd tried it out anyways. I've had this cleanser in my skin care stash for a little less than a year and finally opened it 2 months ago. I like that the packaging is simple yet luxurious. The only trouble I had with the packaging is that if I store it downright the next time I used the product a lot of product would come out and leak into the cap. I now store it upright so I longer lose product because of it. The cleanser has a thick creamy texture with a stringy feel to it. I find that it takes a few more seconds to lather up the product since the texture of the cleanser is creamier than other foam cleansers I've tried. I've only only used my hands to lather up the cleanser and it lathers decently. More than other low ph cleansers and the bubbles are denser as well. I might try a foaming net next just to difference, The scent is a very rich and aromatic herbal scent. I was worried the scent would be too strong or bothersome but it's neither. I don't find it overpowering and instead find it pleasant and my favorite thing about the cleanser. I've used the cleanser in both in my morning routine as well as in my evening/night routine. The cleanser is a low ph and I find that although it has amazing foaming abilities my skin doesn't feel tight or dry. I don't find that it helps my sebum it relatively makes my skin feel and look clean. During my evening routine I find that it cleanses off really well any residue my cleansing oil has left. Occasionally I use this cleanser to remove sunscreen or eyebrow makeup and find it effective enough to removing such products. However, I have not tried removing base nor eye makeup with this cleanser as I prefer an oil cleanser. The cleanser is very gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. So moisturized that I sometimes have to make sure I've gotten off all the cleanser on my face. I have dry skin and find that this cleanser is gentle enough to keep my skin from drying out yet I can still lather it up to create bubbles. I prefer foaming cleansers to gel cleansers and although this cleanser is really good for my dry skin I can't help to want more. I like this cleanser but I don't love it and even though it matches well with my dry skin I still feel like something is missing. My skin has considerably brighten up but I probably would not entirely associate it to this cleanser as I've been using multiple brightening products. However, this cleanser always leave my skin feeling soft and clean but it's not on my skin for long to associate any brightening. But I do find that the long term benefit is that my skin doesn't feel tight or dry after using this cleanser. Will I repurchase? Yes because it is a safe low ph foaming cleanser ideal for my skin type. Plus with 150ml worth of product it's worth the high price.

Yes.
The Sulwhaso Snowise EX Cleansing Foam is a low acidity cleanser that lathers up nicely yet still feels gentle on the skin. Leaves the skin soft and not dry. It doesn't make the skin feel tight but leaves the skin hydrated. It doesn't help with sebum but it doesn't make the skin overproduce oil either. This cleanser is a very safe option for not only dry but also for oily, combination, and normal skin types. The price might be a bit steep but one only needs a glop so it will definitely last long.

Jolse has been on my shopping radar for awhile. I've ordered a few times in the past year and have already made my first order of the year as well. Jolse is a web shop that has a lot of good reviews and I thought I'd share my thoughts too.

THE BACKGROUND: Jolse is a web shop that caters to overseas customers. For some brands the prices are a bit higher than retail but for other brands the prices are below retail. Jolse offers 68+ brands on their website. Brands range from well-known road shop brands and high end brands to new and recently discovered brands. I can find all the brands by browsing the site without difficulty. Jolse updates the site frequently with newly released products from Korea. Jolse is also constantly adding new brands so the list of brands available on the site keeps growing. Jolse only accepts paypal but more information is available if one doesn't have a paypal account. Jolse also has a review page that review products from the web shop to help customers shop. I placed my order on 1/06/17 and shows as 1/07/16 on Jolse while the site was running a sale. Jolse constantly has sales so keep an eye out or obviously check their email updates. My order wasn't dispatched until 1/12/17 which is only took 3 days and is understandable because of their sale. Even three days is a quick dispatch. I received my order on 1/16/17 which only took four days. I chose DHL, EMS & DHL is free for orders of $150. Jolse sends a confirmation email once the order goes through and an email when the order is shipped out. There were a ton of samples on top when I opened my package and a freebie that I chose, the Cookie Monster headband. The items were nicely packaged, everything that I ordered was there and nothing leaked. I will definitely continue to shop at Jolse especially because their high end brands are cheaper than other sites.

CONCLUSION: Great communication, Securely packaged, and tons of samples included. Lots and lots of brands available and even more brands added regularly. Prices are quite good especially for high end brands and all products come with free economy shipping which explains why products are a bit higher than retail price. It's definitely a web shop that I will continue to shop from and all my experiences with Jolse have been great.

SITE LAYOUT: The web site is easy to navigate and isn't very clustered. The banner at the top of the web shop offers information of sales or recently added products. The tabs/links at the top are easy to see. Jolse also has a few tutorials on how to order and what shipping method to use. As well as an extensive FAQ with almost every question one can have answered.

COMMUNICATION: I haven't had the opportunity to contact Jolse directly but every time I've ordered none of my items are out of stock, the standby is only a few days before the items are shipped out and tons of samples are included. I receive email updates for my order confirmation and when my order has been dispatched.

SHIPPING: Shipping is calculated into the prices only for economy shipping (no tracking). Jolse offers 4 types of shipping, more information is available on the site regarding shipping. The standard shipping is free for orders over $40 or only $2.50 if below that amount. DHL & EMS is based on weight and is free for orders over $150

I'm quite certain that the KoreanBuddy Shopping Service has been reviewed extensively but I still want to share my experience. I've been obsessed with this shopping service and I hope they will continue to offer their services.

THE BACKGROUND: KoreanBuddy is a shopping service that I initially read about on Reddit. I've used prior shopping services but unfortunately those shopping services are no longer active. Koreanbuddy came at a much needed time for me so for that I'm thankful. I've only bought cosmetics through KoreanBuddy but they also take orders for tickets, clothing and accessories. Depending on sales they are able to purchase sale price items however, some sales don't last long enough so please keep that in mind. KoreanBuddy is essentially a great go-between to order hard to find products only available in Korea, and of course sale items. KB does charge very reasonable fees for their service. All information regarding fees is also available on their website. A 10% fee is charged if one provides the links for the product and a 20% fee if no link is provided. If by any chance one wants to order a product only available in-store a 20% fee is added to the product. There is a minimum commission fee is $9USD. There are two methods to order, the first one is filling out a form under the "PLACE AN ORDER" tab. The second method is to send a word document by clicking on the third button titled, "SHOPPING LIST" located on the right hand side of the screen. After submitting the form one will receive a message that the "order has been received successfully" and that an invoice will be sent after. I've ordered countless times and I receive an invoice the day after I've submitted my order. The turnaround is really fast but may take a bit longer depending on the influx of orders they receive. Once they've processed the order an invoice sent and once the invoice is paid a payment confirmation email is sent shortly after. KB accepts paypal, bitcoin and credit cards. The program "vCita" they use to process and communicate is simple, easy to use and also convenient. This is just one recent timeline for an order I had, I sent my form with links on DEC.25 received an invoice on Dec.28. I made a few mistakes and added a few more items and they sent me a new and updated form on Dec.28. The products were ordered on Dec.29. The products arrived to KoreanBuddy's home on Jan.8 and the second invoice with the shipping fee and commission fee included was sent out on Jan.8 my package was sent out on Dec.18. There was a small wait time but that was because KB had a hectic week during Big Bang concert sales. I didn't mind the wait at all because I sent them a message and they quickly sent me an explanation and everything was okay and the products were ready to be send out. I received the products on Jan.12, I ordered EMS so I had the products in 4 days. All the items were well packaged, not too much bubble wrap just enough to protect the products. Nothing leaked and all the items inside were the items I had ordered. I really love that KoreanBuddy includes all the freebies and samples that offered when ordering from web shops.

CONCLUSION: Amazing communication, Fast response time, Securely packaged, and all samples/freebies offered by web shops are included. Ordering products directly from Korea may or may not be worth it. It depends on the buyer, if one wants to source harder to find products, newly released products, and occasionally cheaper products then a shopping service is a must and I definitely recommend it. However, I would first explore and calculate the difference in prices from Korean web shops that only cater to customers located in Korea and web shops that cater to overseas customers. Especially for products that are widely available. I've had countless transactions with KoreanBuddy and they've all been amazing. KB helps me order products for cheap and I'm always excited to make my next order.

SITE LAYOUT: The web site is clean and informative. The links and tabs are well displayed. Offers tons of information to help the buyer place an order and also the "shopping guide" offers tips from where to shop from. The recent hauls"allows readers to gain an idea on what to haul. Overall I find that KoreanBuddy really wants their customers to have a great experience using their service by offering tons of information to make it simpl and easy to place an order. KoreanBuddy dedicates a lot of their time to help ease the worry and confusion when ordering products from Korean webs shops. The shopping guide not only caters to places one can buy cosmetics from but also K-POP items and tickets as well as clothing. KoreanBuddy also has a "shopping glossary" that is a translation of important Korean terms to help the shopper decide what to buy exactly.

COMMUNICATION: Communication and a fast response time is very important when using online shopping services. I've had really amazing communication with Chris at KoreanBuddy, I'm updated constantly if the products are sold out, when the items have arrived and when the items will be sent out. KoreanBuddy always sends photos of the products when the items have arrived at KB's home. I have a bad habit of adding products after I've sent the form and KoreanBuddy is so understanding and patient and deals with my sudden requests. KoreanBuddy always replies in a timely manner. Their replies are always either on the same day I sent the message or the day after. KoreanBuddy always goes out of their way to satisfy customers inquires and requests.

SHIPPING: Shipping is calculated by weight. KoreanBuddy has created a "shipping rates" page and is available on their website. KB displays four types of shipping methods. EMS, AIRMAIL, REGISTERED Regular MAIL, AND SURFACE MAIL, shipping rates are all available on the page. I usually order EMS and receive packages between 4-5 days and I did order airmail once and package came in 9-10 days. KB will send you a message between once the first invoice is paid or before the items arrive to ask what shipping type is preferred.

WOW! Look at that incredibly and probably unnecessarily long blog title. So about 2 or so years ago I tried Broom St. and Graffito used them up and have now repurchased them and still in love in with them. I also got a few different colors from the same line as well as 3 new colors. Fortunately got these on sale, the pencils retail for 17,000₩ but are worth the price and even worth a few dollars more.

►THE BREAKDOWN

Unfortunately, I have no photos of the packaging anymore. I really can't pick any colors out as my favorites because all the colors are quite unique and perform equally. Copper Glow is a brown that leans more as a red with its gold, red, and pink glitters, Healthy Tan is a muted light brown that leans gold with gold and green glitters. Jewel Sand is a pinkish brown with gold and pink glitters. Tan is a soft brown with gold glitters, Graffito is a soft red with red and gold glitters. Broom ST. is a darker brown with gold and bronze colored glitters. Sand Lilac is a silver with light pink and silver glitters. Just as its name Gold Coast is a dark gold with gold glitters. Deep Attraction is a lighter brown in comparison with Broom ST. with gold and bronze glitters. Stay Dark is a dark brown almost black with pink, gold, and silver glitters. These eyeliners come with a rubber-like smudge tip on the other end (I don't use it whatsoever) so I don't have experiences using the smudge tip. Personally I'm not fond of eyeliners that have a sharpener at the end (twist up the product and sharpener only the product) like Etude House Play 101 Pencils or Clio Gelpresso Pencil Gel Liners. Either the product dries up too soon or the product fall outs of the packaging. So these are sharpened as actual eye pencils so I don't have to worry about any of the above reasons. The eyeliners apply smoothly and evenly even if they are glitter eyeliners. I can layer the product over without removing or smudging the previous layer, Although, there is no need for layering as they all are very pigmented. The eyeliners don't tug on my eyelids nor do the glitters transfer with wear. That was my initial worry with trying out glitter eyeliners, I tried a few different brands in the past and noticed the glitter bits would transfer when I closed my eyelid and throughout the wear time. The glitter in these eyeliners do not budge even when I rub the eyeliner. I enjoy not worrying about seeing glitter all over my face with these eyeliners. The wear time I get out of these eyeliners is ridiculously amazing, if an eyeliner can last on me with 8 hrs and with minimal smudging is a very good and probably a favorite eyeliner but these are on another level. The Espoir eyeliners definitely surpass the 8hr wear and I've successfully had a 13-15hr wear time over and over with no smudging and the color opacity at its fullest. My eyelids are a tad bit oily and the Espoir eyeliners don't budge even with the oiliness and sweat. Just as the name entails they are also waterproof and the eyeliners don't flake off either until very minimal flake off about into the 13-15 hour of wear time. I can smudge the eyeliner but they dry pretty quick and will not budge afterwards. When I'm removing the eyeliners I either have to use a cleansing oil to completely remove the eyeliners or let a cotton pad sit on my eyes for a minute to fully remove the eyeliners since they are very long-lasting. I also notice that no glitter is left behind on my face when I remove them so that's another huge plus. Some eyeliners have more noticeable glitters than others but in the majority of the eyeliners the glitters are quite subtle. On another note I'm trying out a few eyeliners from Espoir's other lines and there are more matte color options available there. I'm excited to post about those soon in case there are a few who absolutely don't like glitter eyeliners even if these are worth checking out.

Hello. So, I wanted to try out these relatively new Mamonde lip products back when I actually purchased them because of the packaging. The packaging does actually look like highlighters and it comes in 10 colors. Mamonde has released a similar product related to the Highlight Lip tints, the Highlight Lip Tint Glow. This product retails for 11,000₩

✦DESCRIPTION

(From Packaging): A lip tint that completes the highlight of makeup with high color and light texture. (N/A)

►THE BREAKDOWN

No.2 Tonic Coral is actually not coral at all, it's a light colored muted neutral pink. It's quite flattering on my skin tone although I try to avoid pinks this specific color really drew my attention. No.9 Number Memory is a red tint with a brown undertone. The scent kinda reminds of paint but also carries a sweet tone as well. The scent is there upon application but fades with wear. The applicator is a flat pointed applicator and although I find the pointed tip useful to outline the upper part of my lips I find the overall size of the whole applicator to be to wide. It makes it difficult to properly outline the rest of the lip without mistakes. The texture is creamy and not sticky at all as my hair doesn't stick to my lips. The product itself is pigmented and opaque, it's easy to transfer the opaqueness on to the lips. The product is easy to build on but one only needs 2 layers at most more layers will wipe off prior layers. Without wiping off excess one application is opaque enough for one lip. However, the product is easy to blend out thus losing the opaqueness. Personally I prefer to use this tints as actual tints even though the colors are so very pretty that they would be perfect as lipsticks. Now I've tried them both as an all over lip tint as well as just a simple lip gradation and yes the lip gradation is much better. With an all over lip tint upon application it was fully pigmented, glossy, and moisturizing it stays that way until 45 minutes. Within an hour the color has faded and the color isn't as glossy as the initial application. After 2 hours the color is only slightly glossy but the color has faded even more. By the third hour the color was just slightly there no longer glossy nor moisturizing. After the fourth and fifth hour the color was just subtle tint and lasted as such for the next hour until it faded completely As a gradation it's the same process but seems to fade quicker as after the sixth hour I didn't even notice a lip stain. The product is not transfer proof it actually transfer so very much and on everything. So it completely wipes off considerably when eating, as for drinking it transfers on the cup. Even the lip stain after 3 hours is not as pigmented as what my other lip tints look like at the third hour mark. By the later hours the lip stain is very subtle that it looks like what my other lip tints look like at the eight hour mark and even subtler than that. The tints don't dry out my lips or make them look dry after wear so I'll continue to use them but I'd definitely have to carry them with me for touch ups. I really loved the colors and I guess I expected too much but they're are quite glossy and they're not advertised as long-lasting so they're not the worst nor the best.

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well and had an eventful New Year's Day. So, after about more than a year of debating when to restart my blog it's finally happening. I really hope that I'm able to resume activity here on the blog with a steady and constant schedule. Cosrx is a brand that is relatively popular and the Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pad is one of the products in the Korean blogging platform that is the most reviewed. This product retails for 25,000₩ or at a considerably lesser amount during sales.

✦DESCRIPTION

(From Packaging): One Step Pimple Clear Pad is designed to wipe away excess dirt, oil and purify clogged pores with exfoliating pre-moistened pads. (70 pads)

►THE BREAKDOWN

Just last year I became interested in exfoliators but I could never actually commit to using an entire container until I tried these. This particular product doesn't actually exfoliate the skin as would an exfoliator whose ph is at 3 - 4 since its ph is only at 5. Similar to a ph adjusting toner in the sense that the ph is too high to actually exfoliate however, it is more of a prep toner for actual exfoliators. The scent is quite herbal-like and smells like what Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water and Betaine Salicylate would smell like. The scent only lingers while one is sweeping said product but once the product dries down the scent is no longer is detected. The scent isn't bothersome but if one prefers odorless products this product might not be ideal. I enjoy the ease of application the products offers. Since the product is pre-soaked and the texture of both sides of the pad are not abrasive I can use the pads twice a day without worrying about the sensitivity of my skin. The formula and the applicator are both gentle and having combination skin the product does not dry out my skin nor make my skin appear even oilier. The product dries down matte and does not feel sticky yet leaves the skin soft and moisturized. I bought two tubs hoping that I would like it and I've already finished one tub and almost half done with my second tub. For two weeks I introduced this product into my routine I didn't notice any visible skin changes. I used the one pad every day while using my first tub and I'm using two pads everyday with my current tub. I didn't notice results until I skipped using it for a day or two. Results wise it actually helped de-clog my clogged pores and minimize the appearance of my sebaceous filament. It also helped control the oil production in my t-zone and improved the texture of my skin. The product also calms and reduces the appearance and size of active pimples but does not help bring pimples to the surface. My skin looks and feels softer and clearer. I began seeing changes after the first month of consecutive use and although, I thought the product was lackluster it has become a staple in my routine. However, I noticed that I need to consistently use the product to see improvement if not my skin tends to look dull and revert back to its clogged pore appearance. In my opinion its a product that provides results and seems to a be product that is easily recommendable for all skin types as its formula is gentle yet effective. Will I repurchase? After I finish my second tub I might try a few different dupes but I'll probably end up repurchasing a third tub sooner or later. As of a few months ago Cosrx has come out with a new product similar in concept to the One Step Pimple Clear Pad. Recommended for drier skin types, One Step Moisture Up Pad, seems quite elusive but I hope to purchase it soon and try it out as well.

ONLINE SHOPPING GUIDE. RECOMMENDED WEB SHOPS. TIPS.

I really wanted to compile this list of online shops for many people who want to purchase Korean brands especially products that aren't on ebay or are a bit harder to find. Most sites offer close to retail Korean cosmetics with some offering free shipping. I definitely recommend to visit the websites and read reviews to make it a very nice shopping experience. I initially wanted to review each site separately but found it easier to compile and leave a short feedback for each web shop, I might review the sites I have not order from soon and do a review then. If you have any questions let me know & I'll try to answer asap.
